LAAS Foreign Registered Aircraft in the UK

Reg C/N

This searchable data file is based on the annual LAAS publication Foreign Registered Aircraft based in the British Isles  and is to be updated around the 25th of each month with that month's changes, which will then also be published in Aviation News & Review. Wherever possible errors and additional information will be amended on a day by day basis.

How to use the Foreign Registered Aircraft database:

  1. Pull Down Lists
    • Country; giving a complete list of both civil and military from that country.
    • Base; giving a complete list of aircraft based at that location.
  2. Detailed Search, by selecting one option button and then entering either
    • Registration; can be full or part (particularly useful for all those annoying engine-cover occasions)
    • Construction number; again, can be full or part numbers

Some comments on the registrations

In the area of wrecks and relics, we have only included substantially extant fuselages, including those stored with a view to restoration.

Credits

In addition to the reports published in Aviation News & Review credit must be given for information from a number of sources including Aviation Letter, Wrecks & Relics, AMCAR, Corporate Monthly, Air Britain, numerous reports on various web-sites and groups including N-Number inquiry, unofficial Gloucestershire Airport, Blackpoolspotters.com, “Airfields”, CAE, Helicopters and many individuals. We have not named names as there are very many of you out there who contribute, so a big thank you to you all.

Finally special thanks are due to Jonas Rock, Paul Suter, Steve Hines, Mark Lawley and Mac Hodd for their continuing support and assistance.

Any additional information, corrections, comments etc are welcome as are new sightings throughout the year or photos for future use - please send them to fra@laasdata.com.
